About Naturopathy
Naturopathy embodies philosophies and principles involving pure water, clean air, wholesome food, proper diet and nutrition, exercise, proper living, appropriate rest, right thinking, absence from toxic substances, body ecology, effective management of stress and a number of other natural subjects which lead to a balanced living concept.

The goal of naturopathy is to assist the body in it's innate ability to heal itself. One achieves this by fostering health at a cellular level – improving circulation, innervation, nutrition, detoxification, and elimination.

The Principles of Classical Naturopathy
1. First do no harm – do not suppress or mask symptoms
2. The healing power of nature – facilitate the body's efforts to heal itself
3. Identify the cause – eliminate the root of the problem
4. Always consider the whole person – focus on the person's well-being, not just the symptomatic body part
5. The clinician as teacher – educate the client so he may take an active role in his healing process
6. Prevention – focus on a healthy lifestyle and the need to fight disease will subside

What can I expect at an appointment?
The practitioner does individual wellness profiles that will map out a personalized plan of health for you and your family. She uses Muscle Response testing also known as Clinical Kinesiology to establish a base line of nutritional health, as well as blood chemistry balancing, hormone balancing, food allergy/intolerance testing, sports rehabilitation therapy, sport specific nutrition, heavy metal testing, emotional balancing through customized blends of flower essences and several other avenues of natural health support.

During an initial 1 to 2 hour visit you can expect:

  • Personalized wellness supplementation plan to support your organ systems, nutrient stores, and to identify stressors like yeast, parasites, heavy metals, chemical overloads, food allergies/intolerances, etc.
  • Effectiveness of supplements you may already be taking
  • Wellness counseling to empower lifestyle adjustments

What therapies are used?
Naturopathy casts a wide net of techniques and therapies. Naturopathic treatments are non-invasive, A balanced naturopathic wellness program may be just the alternative you are looking for.
